A vision realised

April 14, 2015

I’m writing this blog on the train but by the time you read it I will be in London probably muttering to myself the very words that I said at the London Book Fair in 2006 – ‘am I crazy or what?’ Seems to have become a well known phrase of mine now as I constantly step into unfamiliar territory, well out of my comfort zone.

Yes it’s nine years ago when I wandered around that book fair with ideas in my head, vision which didn’t make sense and, feeling fake – wearing a badge which said – ‘publishing director.’

How did I ever come to register as that one!

Well, what can I say? Here we are wearing a badge once again that says publishing director, this time exhibiting with my own stand and about to showcase all my company’s forthcoming titles. And of course the Chavos Brand, but a tiny seed of an idea all those years ago.

So what’s it all about? And does life ever make sense?

Well as many of you know from reading my blogs, my story began in Mexico City and I know not where it will end. A story of faith, which has led me down a most amazing path, and leaving me with the thought, I now have some understanding of how Noah felt when he built the ark.

I just keep doing what I feel I’m meant to do, day by day it unravels.

So a vision realised, perhaps. Will try and blog plenty this week and we will see what happens.

Chat soon.
