Vision

July 17, 2013

If you have read my last couple of blogs you will see I have been answering some of the questions people most regularly ask me, but primarily I am talking about vision. In this case my vision for the Chavos Brand and my hopes to make a difference in the lives of some children at least.

Not that I’m religious, far from it. But I have my faith, and I do BELIEVE that the Bible is an absolute wealth of information, not to mention the Book of Proverbs which I love to read. So here are 2 quotes which I know to be so true.

We all need vision in our lives. We need  to believe in something  to make life worthwhile, to give it purpose. Perhaps in some cases believing that it will get better or that we can make it better for someone else.

Whatever, the scripture, (Proverbs 29.18) “without vision my people will perish,” is so true. Sadly I know many people who suffer from depression because they have no vision for their lives and, can’t find a purpose or find a perspective on what they are meant to do.

The other scripture that I love, and I feel is one of the most important things I have learnt is that, the vision awaits the appointed time. (Habakkuk 2.3-4)  In life there are seasons. We can’t rush those seasons, each one has to run its course, and usually it is about us. Are we ready for that change, can we handle it?

I could talk about this all day but I have to rush off and do so many things like take the doggies to the puppy parlour, go to the office and more and more. So meanwhile, just wanted to post what I have learnt;-

So keep those dreams alive and when the going gets tough, just get tougher.

Have a nice day
