I was going to blog all kinds of interesting stuff about how beautiful Mexico City is, in parts. How lovely the Mexicans are. How great the food is. And more…
But not happy at the moment…
Seems I have gone since arriving here, from having chest pain – now gone thankfully – to the gripes and, not being able to eat for nearly three days.
I’m told they call it Moctezuma’s revenge!
And now what’s happening to my eyes?
I’m supposed to be filming a documentary or commercial or something tomorrow. Not sure what! Can I do it with sunglasses on? And as we are supposed to be on the streets all day I’m praying it doesn’t rain. It is the rainy season after all, and this afternoon the heavens opened.
At least I should be grateful we didn’t go to Tepito yesterday. The place has gone crazy. Check it out. Police everywhere. Dozens of arrests, riots and sadly some fatalities.
And did I tell you I watched Mel Gibson’s new movie, filmed in a Mexican prison? Loved it! Whatever they say about Mel, the guy has real talent. I have met a couple of movie producers here this week but Gibson is the man for me.
So I suppose you would say I’m having fun in Mexico.
