You know what I’m going to say – not enough hours in the day!
It’s true! It’s true! People to see, places to go AND books to write. #amwriting #chavosing
Well for now I just want to pay homage to all those great athletes who did us proud during the Olympics. We also need to remember the ones who trained hard for years and achieved so much, personal goals satisfied. Just to represent their country was a remarkable feat. Sadly, most of them are quickly forgotten, whilst those with the gold medals court all the publicity. That’s society I suppose – we focus on the winners but, I want to give credit to all those who even made the finals. WHAT AN ACHIEVMENT. Well done.
The Yorkies did us proud and, I had to laugh when some comedian actually asked on twitter. ‘When does Yorkshire get its own currency, flag and independence?’ Bravo Yorkshire. I suppose you know we won 7 gold, 2 silver and 3 bronze.
And what about those gold painted post boxes? Why couldn’t we have silver and bronze post boxes as well? Now there’s a thought!
