It’s about encouragement and positivity. The future will be better. Let go of the hurt and pain. Move on. Don’t waste time with what if. Certainly not, if it didn’t work, learn from it and move on.
Yes, there’s so much truth in all that but on the contrary there comes a time when we need to look back, if only to see how far we’ve come. To surprise ourselves. Yes, a glimpse of the progress we have made, the achievements and more.
Life is a journey, we learn from it. Ever heard that expression, when you trip in life make it part of your dance?
I was thinking recently of all the things that I have been through. So many wonderful memories and generally looking back, if I did it all again I wouldn’t change a thing. Yes the rotten stuff is there, but we have all had our fair share of that. It shapes and moulds our character as we go. The main thing in life that I have learnt is learning to forgive, because if we don’t, that root of bitterness will damage us more than the person who caused it and, has moved on.
I wonder what started me thinking about all this stuff this morning? I can’t remember now, but sometimes you put pen to paper and it becomes nothing like you expected. So here I am twittering on about the past.
Do you know there is a scripture in the Bible that says, God will turn our ashes into beauty? I’ll leave you to find it.
The fact is everything and anything we do in life can be used. Experiences, knowledge, wisdom. Pass it on, help others. The only thing is will they listen?
Well at the moment I’m re thinking my habits, food intake etc and realising that I need to make some life changes. I started researching for a couple of girl friends recently who are battling breast cancer. My intention to help and encourage them seems to be changing my life.
So if you have the time read these two books, they are awesome. Forget the cancer angle which is so important, but just view them as great nutritional advice for healthy living generally. We really are what we eat, how we think and how we treat our bodies.
