The musical ensemble were brought on to the show by Monterrey-born businesswoman Marcela Flores Newburn, who pitched her Mexican food range to the five business giants.
Ms Newburn, who was seeking a £75,000 investment in return for a 20 per cent share of her company, wanted the dragons to help turn her selection of dips and snacks into a major brand.
Although her tuneful pitch received a positive reception from the investors, they ultimately decided not to take up her offer.
According to Real Business, the general consensus from Peter Jones, Theo Paphitis and the rest of the dragons was that Ms Newburn "would need much more than £75,000 to make her product mainstream".
The show, which was the fourth episode of the current series, will be broadcast again on BBC Two at 19:00 BST tomorrow.
