Someone

December 8, 2014

So what’s on your mind at the moment? The tragic death of the 30 year old woman and her new born baby, found dead in a Bristol gorge? CCTV showed her walking out of the hospital in slippers within hours of the birth! A woman apparently with mental health problems.

The ‘chokehold’ scandal in New York City which has led to continuous demonstrations in various parts of the United States. A man selling illegal cigarettes on the streets but is man-handled to the ground by 5 cops – the video footage doesn’t look good to me. Yet no charges against the cops. He is now dead!

The dead baby found in the wheelie bin in North Yorkshire or the Lancashire vicar and his daughter held on suspicion of murdering her new born baby. And that’s just some of the news!
There’s plenty more where that came from and it’s all pretty sickening!

Someone somewhere is always suffering.
Whilst others are charging around the stores, things ticking nicely on in their household, and minds filled with thoughts of Christmas. Meeting it’s demands and buying those pressies! Yes, sadly that’s the world we live in. And many folk out there won’t be thinking much like celebrating this year.
As Bob Geldof would say, they don’t even know it’s Christmas.

Hum!
As for me – I’ve been busy writing, and not given much thought to Christmas other than to buy a couple of those fab tins of chocolates, discounted at the checkouts and saying ‘buy me, buy me!’
Is there anybody else other than me who can’t resist? Yes, thousands of you I’m sure! We eat the flipping things only to be faced with the nightmare of those extra pounds and yes, we still need to buy our Christmas chocolates. Do it every year. Drrr….

And I don’t like Russell Brand. Just a random comment I wanted to throw in but he’s been in the news too much lately. Awful man! In my opinion of course….

So writing to do, a business to run and then must get on with that Christmas shopping.
Is it too early to buy chocolates?
