Relaxing, plotting and planning yesterday afternoon. Comfortable on the sofa, having just come indoors to escape the heat of the sun and suddenly the sofa moved! The house shook! Something, I certainly never expected. Sadly people died and historical buildings were destroyed in the lovely city of Lorca, only 40 minutes drive from where I am staying. A glass of red wine and a few Jammie Dodgers later, I soon felt better. I have to say however, I was out of my comfort zone all night.
This morning, I think of those people who were; “here yesterday and gone tomorrow.” Life is precious and not to be taken for granted. Makes me think about my spirituality!
